For pharmaceutical industries, the leakage test in happened after the HEPA filters already been installed. The main test project includes filter media completeness, air tight between air filter frames and hold case, air tight of gasket. For any leakage appear, immediate fix is necessary to maintain cleanroom cleanliness level;

Methods for HEPA filter leakage test;

Normally, HEPA filters tested by DOP; PAO generator produce small aerosol in the upstream of HEPA filters; Because there are no enough particle in the HEPA filter upstream, leakage test in downstream always be hard to identify;

PAO generator can create many small aerosol particles that make leakage be apparently, so it`s easily to identify.

MPPS test from 0.1-0.4 micron also be available;
